Nick and Laura | The Millstone at Adams Pond Wedding

I love this sweet couple! I go way back with each of these two, we all went to the same high school. Nick’s sister, Macall, is one of my favorite people. We have been best friends since she was a Freshman in high school, so I met Nick by default! Laura and I have slowly gotten to know one another through mutual friends throughout the years, but it wasn’t until we started working together for their wedding that we really got to know one another! I had the pleasure of taking their engagement photos in Greenville, you can view their fun session here! We also did bridals at The Millstone and I’ve decided that Laura should definitely be a bridal model. Holy wow! You can view her bridals here. Laura is steady, beautiful, and has a calming presence. Nick is creative, kind, and thoughtful. They were truly made for one another. I loved having a front row seat at watching Laura become the woman and wife that she is today.

Nick and Laura’s wedding day was settled in the heart of Columbia at The Millstone at Adam’s Pond. This venue has easily become one of my favorites in Columbia. It has low country charm without the sticky heat, not to mention, the staff there are seriously rockstars! The ceremony was held at the back of the property, nestled under the Spanish moss. It was a beautiful display of Jesus’ love for us, and the love that Nick and Laura share. What an honor it was to witness their ceremony.

My favorite moment of the day was during the reception. Nick and Laura blocked off a few moments during the reception for their grandparents to dance. It was such a sweet, meaningful moment. The crowd at this wedding was the. most. fun. They never stopped dancing and celebrating! They had a lot to celebrate!

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Johnston!
