Brianne + Cooper | Fall Intimate Wedding on Black Mountain

Brianne and Cooper had whirlwind romance, it didn’t take much time to realize that they were meant for one another. They wanted to keep their wedding intimate, capping out at 35 of their best friends and family. Their wedding took place at The Monte Vista Hotel in Black Mountain, NC. It was the perfect place to nestle their intimate wedding, right in the middle of peak leaf changing season!

Their families put time and effort into every detail, as well as keeping the wedding intimate and budget friendly. Brianne made details count where needed, and made sure that their day was special and meaningful. The girls got ready in a beautiful mountain house with a view that would seriously take your breath away. Mountains covered in color for as far as you could see!

We made our way to a nearby park for portraits, and man oh man, the leaves truly brought the color and the photos to life. Plus, the beautiful bridal bouquet and boutonnière were made by Greenville’s best, Willow Florals. Julie never ever disappoints, this bouquet was stunning! Another fun part of this wedding day, I shot some rolls of film with a Pentax. Brianne and Cooper were gracious and patient to let me manually focus a few shots and giddily (is that a word) snap some film portraits of them!

This day goes down as one of my favorites from 2015. Brianne’s sister is one of my best friends, so I was just an honorary Tallman for the day. I was loved so well and welcomed into the family with open arms. Sitting down for dinner with everyone was a highlight, because it truly allowed time to get to know their grandparents and other relatives that I hadn’t met yet.

Bri and Coop, thank you so much for allowing me to join in on this joyful day with you!

  1. Oh my goodness, I just love the colors of this weeding and love what the bridesmaids wore. And that bouquet, STUNNING!
