In the words of sweet Chloe,
"Our wedding day was a day many years in the making, nine years from the summer we met. We agreed we wanted our wedding to celebrate our love, friends, and family that have been our past, present, and future. We wanted something classic and timeless. Something that we could cherish 50 years from now, something we can show our grandchildren.
After we were engaged, we both knew Charleston was our location, no questions asked. Five out of six bridesmaids lived in the Holy City, making planning from Tennessee a breeze. Charleston then led us to Magnolia Plantation with its beautiful historic oaks and Spanish moss. "America's Oldest Garden" was the first and only venue we visited.
From there, we chose soft colors (golds, champagne, neutrals) to allow the beautiful greenery to show through. Overall, our theme was classic spring garden. We found a wonderful retired gentleman who lives on beautiful Sullivan's Island in Charleston and officiates weddings in the area. After phone calls and a coffee meet, he agreed to help us develop our wedding ceremony and vows which included readings by my great aunt, the groom's grandmother, and the groom's twin sister. A day we will never forget."
Their gorgeous Charleston wedding was beautiful planned and coordinated by Cruz Coordination, and it was nothing short of southern & low country charm! Chloe and Tom's wedding day was also featured on Borrowed & Blue and The Carolinas Magazine!
