Gabrielle and Brad’s first date was prom & they woke up at 4am the next morning to drive to the hunt club to turkey hunt. Their story began there, and has grown ever since. One of their favorite places to be together is their family’s farm. What I love about Gabrielle is that she’s easily one of the most intelligent, best dressed southern belles I’ve ever met, but she has an immense love for the outdoors and turkey hunting! You can view their fall engagement session here, where the implemented a little touch of hunting and their southern roots.
Gabrielle envisioned a mixture of all white flowers and greenery for hers and Brad’s wedding in Hendersonville, NC. She loves the formal look in a rustic setting, which I honestly think she nailed! Their reception space was filled with antlers, furs, and family silver pieces. Each piece represented their love of the outdoors, all things classy, and a mutual love for hunting. Brad wore a bow tie made of turkey feathers to hint at their mutual love for turkey hunting. Their first look was intimate and sweet, Gabrielle shed some happy tears and Brad kept his calm and cool demeanor. That all changed when Gabrielle made her way down the aisle, he couldn’t help but let out his emotion. Brad’s father officiated their ceremony, his words were so impactful and personal to both Gabrielle and Brad.
Their reception was held in the beautiful indoor space at Jeter Mountain Farms. The space was perfect for their formal look in a rustic setting. The bride and groom were introduced and then joined their bridal party at the head table for dinner. Brooke Ring did a gorgeous live painting of the dance floor during the reception, which added a sweet personal touch to their reception & gave them a memento to keep forever. This day was so fun and so sweet, Gabrielle and Brad thank you for sharing May 15th with me! A portrait from their wedding was featured in TOWN Magazine to celebrate their recent nuptials!
