Welcome to our home office + the JNP studio space! This space has been a labor of love. It used to be a weird green color, dark curtains, and truly didn’t serve a purpose. After purchasing a corner desk when we first moved in, I quickly realized that I didn’t like the look of the desk or the room as a whole, period. So! I got a serge of creativity over Christmas last year to paint the entire room a light gray. After much debate, I settled on Sherwin Williams Grayish and painted while jamming out to the Pentatonix Christmas album.

I’ll be honest, I’m pleased with the color, but the gray is a little more on the purple spectrum if you ask me. Certain light makes it look more purple than others, so if I had a do-over I’d opt for a little more blue gray over purple gray. All in all, the paint color serves it’s purpose in making the room more feminine and light!

Walking by this space each day warms my heart because I feel that it is such a true representation of me, my brand, and my style. Each piece took some time to find, but it all came together and I love the result! The most frequently asked question I get is where I got the gallery wall frames from. Y’all, Walmart for the win! I found the frames for $1-$3 in all sorts of colors, spray painted them gold, and there you have it. The frames with the prints were mostly from Hobby Lobby and Michaels!

This room was an act of love and patience, and was truly very affordable! I’ve learned that DIY has its time and its place, and can really save the $$$ when it comes to simple projects, like a gallery wall. My goal was to have client meetings on my cute little couch, and to work from my desk every day. Real life doesn’t necessarily look like that very often, but when I do work from my desk I feel accomplished 😉 maybe one day I’ll make it a habit!
