I’ve noticed a common theme among some of my 2016 brides, a lot of them are marrying their high school sweethearts! Call it coincidence, but I’ll tell you what, what an honor it has been to capture these stories (and all the stories I have been a part of this year)! Emma and Elliot are high school sweethearts and had been dating for 4 years prior to finally getting to call each other husband and wife.
Initially, their wedding date was set for June 4th, but due to some special circumstances their wedding date had to make a shift to June 3rd at the Old Cigar Warehouse in downtown Greenville. If I’m being honest, I firmly believe this was the Lord’s plan all along because their wedding day was perfect. Not the every detail / timeline / outwardly thing about their day was perfect (although these were too), but every word and every minute and every joy felt emotion was perfect.
Emma and Elliot opted to do a first look, but before the big reveal, they read letters to one another. This moment was my favorite. There was weight, excitement, and tears as they recited their words to one another. Then, the big reveal, I’ll let that moment speak for itself! This day was so special, I was so honored to capture each of these images and to tell the story of Emma and Elliot’s first official day as The Baileys.
