Madison + Harrison | Featured in Charleston Weddings Magazine

Harrison and Madison met in 9th grade at Palmetto Christian Academy in Mount Pleasant, SC. Harrison was the class clown and she was the shy new girl. In 10th grade they both transferred to a big public school and ended up being the only two sophomores in a freshmen class. After about a week of being in class together they just clicked. They were best friends after only a month of really getting to know each other. Harrison pursued Madison for two years after that, while Madison was not interested in being more than friends. Junior year prom was when Madison finally realized that she wanted to be with Harrison, and they officially began dating that summer and have been together ever since!

Madison works for Duvall Events in Charleston, SC, so her coworkers played a very special role in her entire wedding day. From the florals, to the decor, to the planning and coordinating, her friends at Duvall had it covered. Her florals were to die for, the most luscious blooms you could ever imagine! Harrison and Madison said “I do” under the oaks by the river at Alhambra Hall. Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed pretty cocktails and appetizers, while enjoying corn hole and the adorable seating on the lawn. The bride and groom opted to have portraits taken at Pitt Street Bridge, this location was special to them because this was the exact location her parents got engaged years before.

This day was full of tradition and stunning details, perfect for Madison and Harrison! Their day would not have been the same without their incredible team of vendors, which are listed at the end of this post!
