Katelyn and Robbie have known each other since they were neighbors when they were little, and Robbie was her first high school boyfriend. After an 11 year break (haha), the Lord brought them back together and the rest is history. “For the last few years, God has placed a huge desire in my heart to be a wife. My wedding day is something I’ve prayed about for as long as I can remember, so this current season of life is more than I’ve ever hoped for.” Katelyn and Robbie said their vows in the same church that KB was baptized in, and they danced the night away on Winthrop’s campus, where she went to college. In her words, “our goal is to have our ceremony fully centered around our faith and the true meaning of marrige. Afterall, it’s a gift that God has given to us.”
These two have become some of our dearest friends, and I am forever grateful that the Lord put KB on my path. She is loyal, she is genuine, and she is the sweetest friend. We are lucky to have them in our corner, and I was the most honored to be able to document one of their most cherished days – and all the memories to come for team Strickland. Love y’all so big!
